taurus sho faked engine sounds I have a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO with around 111,000 miles and recently have had a little knock. It's super weird though because I can hear it for a split second when I start the car sometimes, but it happens consistently if I am in manual mode and at a low rpm. $44K+

I have a 2014 Taurus SHO w/ 83K miles. I bought it in mid 2019 w/ 47K miles. When acceleration is slow/mild, it creates this "gurgle" type of noise. Hi guys I'm new to ford Taurus SHO ecoboost. I'm experiencing shudder and smoking from exhuast pipes (right side majority) along with a rattling noise sounds like turbos. Took it to the dealer and they're telling me I need 2 turbos and an engine! I have a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO with around 111,000 miles and recently have had a little knock. I just finished changing the timing chains on my 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. It took a while to get it to start, but now it starts Everytime. However, the engine sounds a lot different to me compared to before the chain replacement.
It sounds almost like something is rattling around inside the motor. I would say you could have dropped something down in a cylinder or something, but the noise would be much worse. Just look around for something loose. 1) Sometimes the car does not want to turn over. If I turn the key FAST it will turn over and die. If I give it gas for a minute it will be fine. 2) I noticed a rapid clicking noise and it sounds like it is coming from the driver's side of the engine. It does not always happen.
I have a 1991 Taurus sho 3.0 Yamaha. I just had my oil changed 100 miles ago with conventional 5w30. I now notice that the engine is making a ticking noise, sounds like the lifters, but it is loud. I can hear it when the hood is shut and when the hood is open, it is easier to hear. 2015 taurus sho non-pp I feel the engine noise inside the car. So, I checked the engine room. Is this normal? Problem? (no engine cover) At about 140k miles on a well-maintained car, he was driving hard and engine oil light flickered and he immediately noticed the engine knocking so he shut it down. He had about 3000 miles on the oil, the crankcase was full (5W-30) . I pulled over and after some quick testing, have found the noise comes from maybe the valve cover.maybe something attached to the camshaft as the tapping frequency matches the RPM of the engine. Additionally, the tapping does not become prominent until you give it .
